Summer/Fun Dive Schedule
Revised Fun Dive Information – PLEASE READ!
Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, Discover Diving runs weekly fun dives for certified divers to enable our divers to keep doing what they love – diving. Our dives include both shore dives and charters, and range from nice, easy shore dives to more challenging shore dives, full moon dives, engaging seal dive charters, and deep wreck diving. We visit sites in Maine , New Hampshire , and Massachusetts . Every fun dive is supervised by one of our PADI professionals. The dive professionals are responsible for choosing the site, pairing up divers, and delivering the site and dive briefing. They will also have water with them for between the dives to ensure everyone is hydrated. As a certified diver, you are responsible for bringing your own gear – all of it, including enough weight, as well as something to eat and drink between the dives, if you so choose. For shore diving in Massachusetts & New Hampshire, by law, you required to have your own flag. If you will be lobstering, you must have your tank(s) and flag properly marked, have a proper sized gauge, and have your license with you. Due to group size, it may not be possible to dive in one large group, so if you would prefer to dive with the dive professional, please bring that to his/her attention before the buddy assignments are announced.
There is a $10 fee to participate in the fun dives, and you will be required to sign a PADI Liability and Assumption of Risk form before entering the water. You are encouraged to stop by the shop to pay and sign the waiver anytime during the week.
