Full Certification as a Scuba Diver!

Minimum age is 15 yrs (10 yrs for Jr.)

Program Description:

Academic Training:

We do four nights of classroom work here at the store. This is usually done over two weeks. The classwork consists of the homeworks from your book or CD. The majority of the learning will be done by you at your home at your own pace. In the class sessions we will review the homeworks and emphasize important points as well as talk about the marine environment which you will experience in the ocean. Home study materials needed, starting at *$59.95.

Pool Training:

At the end of each classroom session, we move the class to the pool where you will get to put on the gear and learn how to SCUBA. We will practice many of the skills that we will do in the ocean. You will start SCUBA diving on the very first night. Pool equipment needed is mask, fins, snorkels, boots and gloves.
Prices for these items start at +$200. Also, swimsuit and towel needed each night.

Open Water Training:

We spend two days in the ocean. Each day consists of two dives. After that, you are a certified Open Water SCUBA diver!!!! We will do many of the skills we practiced in the pool and get to see all sorts of interesting marine life. We often see striped bass, cunner, sculpins, crabs and lobsters.

Rental equipment available at an extra cost for Open Water check out dives if not purchased throughout class
